Trip to Kathmandu

Hello everyone,

Sorry for being quiet the past few days, just got back from Kathmandu, Nepal last night! Fell in love with the city! Its a beautiful place to visit! Unfortunately because of the rain we were not able to visit the mountains. So we stayed in the city and visited different places.
On the first day, we went to a place called “Thamel” its basically small alley ways of different kinds of shops one after the other as well as restaurants and bars.

You find guys like this every 10 feet trying to sell musical instruments such as bamboo flutes and tiny guitars Image

Had a yummy pizza at a place called “Road house grill” in ThamelImage

After that we took a cab to “Monkey Temple”, most cab drivers ask for high prices as petrol is expensive there but you can bargain with them if its a short distance.

We then went to a Tibetan Bhuddist Temple in Boudhanath. Tibetan people are very holy, they walk around the temple praying.
